Hammersmith, London (West London depot based at either Hammersmith or Walton)
Hours
Standard working hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. You will also be on a standby rota when needed, which includes up to 2 weekends every 7 weeks, covering evenings and weekends, with additional payment.

£28,830 per annum
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to be right at the heart of things, acting as the friendly face of Thames Water when meeting our customers. Each year, we run over 500,000 checks on water samples collected from treatment centres, reservoirs, and customer homes to ensure the highest quality tap water.
- You will be on the move frequently, travelling between different customers and sites as part of a lively team covering a large area.
- Your main responsibility will be testing water samples in domestic homes and businesses.
- You will manage your sampling records and maintain sampling equipment to industry standards.
- Occasionally, you may assist with investigating supply issues or customer complaints.
Your base will be in West London, working from either the Hammersmith or Walton depot.

Experience
- Confident driving experience in medium-sized vehicles in busy, high-traffic areas.
- Customer-facing experience, comfortable visiting domestic homes and businesses.
About you
- Well organised and good at planning routes independently.
- Able to set up and manage your own working day.
- Good computer literacy and strong attention to detail to follow technical procedures.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about the water industry (prior knowledge is a plus but not essential).
Qualifications
- Clean manual driving licence is essential.
