About the Role

We are looking to appoint Design Managers to support major programmes across the South of England. This role offers the chance to lead and develop project teams in a collaborative and innovative environment, working on water projects that push boundaries and make a significant impact. You will partner with top water clients across the UK, shaping the future of the industry.
Currently, we are actively involved in the design and management of major projects across the water sector, including significant opportunities from our appointment onto Thames Water's Asset, Capital & Engineering framework. As a Design Manager within our Major Projects community, you will play a key role in ensuring successful delivery of major projects, integrating skillsets from multiple disciplines. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of delivery, which may involve design & build projects, detailed design delivery, and owners engineer services, requiring complex multi-disciplinary collaboration internally and externally.
You will identify innovative and sustainable solutions, work collaboratively with clients and partner organisations, plan technical delivery, and lead multidisciplinary teams. Experience
Proven experience providing design leadership on major projects, ideally as a Design Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Project Leader. Experience in technical engineering, construction management, environmental or consulting roles related to large and complex construction/engineering projects, particularly within the water or related infrastructure sectors. Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with clients and stakeholders and mentor less experienced team members.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in engineering or project management. Strong understanding of large and complex construction or engineering projects within the water or related infrastructure sectors.
