An esteemed town planning consultancy in Birmingham is seeking a Director to lead their team. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future of urban landscapes by driving strategic growth and fostering strong client relationships. The successful candidate will lead business development efforts, steering the consultancy towards new horizons and ensuring continued success in a competitive market. Key responsibilities include leading and managing a team of planning professionals to maintain high standards of service delivery, developing and implementing business development strategies to expand the client base, cultivating relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities, overseeing project delivery to ensure compliance with planning regulations and client requirements, and representing the consultancy at industry events and forums to enhance its reputation and market presence.

Experience
- Extensive experience in town planning with a proven track record in a senior leadership role
- Strong business development skills with the ability to identify and capitalise on new opportunities
- Comprehensive understanding of planning legislation and policy
