Hours
38 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30 am - 3:36 pm, plus inclusion on a standby rota with additional payment

Salary
Up to £42,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Maintenance team within the Wastewater Division. Based at our Earlswood - Redhill site, you will use your electrical expertise to inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test, install, modify, or repair mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment safely, efficiently, and with minimal supervision. Your work will ensure our sites remain operational, helping to reduce pollution and make a positive environmental impact.

Your responsibilities will include investigating plant failures and carrying out repairs promptly to avoid process interruptions, diagnosing complex faults, and providing technical advice and training to trainees. You will work on a variety of equipment such as motors, gearboxes, screw/chain conveyors, centrifuges, pumps, control gear, 3-phase motors, starters and controls, electronic control systems including VSDs, automatic valves, flow, level and pressure measurement devices, programmable logic controllers, variable speed drives, and chemical handling and dosing equipment.

All necessary PPE, tools, and a company van will be provided.

Requirements

Experience
Time-served apprentice with significant experience in mechanical/electrical systems or holding an NVQ or C&G Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.

- Knowledge and awareness of relevant Health and Safety issues.
- Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications
NVQ or C&G Level 3 in Electrical Engineering preferred.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations preferred but training can be provided.
