About the Role
Join AECOM’s Impact Assessment Practice Area (IAPA) team in Birmingham for a graduate role starting between June and September 2026. You will support nationally significant infrastructure projects including sustainable energy generation, transmission, and water distribution by coordinating environmental inputs, preparing assessment reports, and providing post-planning consent support during construction and operation phases.
This role requires inquisitive minds who can ask the right questions to shape projects for environmentally beneficial outcomes. You will work closely with clients, design teams, and stakeholders to identify constraints, avoid impacts, and develop solutions. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and take personal responsibility are essential.
