About the Role
Join AECOM's Water Resources team and contribute to impactful projects involving dams and reservoirs, water supply systems, and flood risk management for both domestic and international clients. You will gain diverse experience tailored to your interests and career goals while working alongside experienced engineers in a supportive and positive culture. Your role will include design tasks using CAD software, producing calculations, assisting with project management activities such as research and report preparation, and participating in site visits to gain practical experience. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to discuss project requirements and progress. Requirements

Experience
Relevant work experience is advantageous but not essential. Enthusiasm, hard work, and technical proficiency are key.

About you
Ambitious and driven with a strong interest in water projects. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently while maintaining initiative and focus. Capable of prioritising and structuring work effectively within a team environment. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) are essential; good report writing skills are beneficial. Willingness to work towards professional qualifications such as ICE and CIWEM. Ability to consider financial and commercial implications of your work and satisfy client and business expectations.

Qualifications
BEng or MEng in Civil or Civil and Environmental Engineering with at least a 2:1 classification (or equivalent). MSc related to Civil or Environmental Engineering is an advantage. Water-related modules are beneficial.
