About the Role
Join Yunex Traffic, a market leader in intelligent traffic solutions and pioneers in the EV charging market. As an EV Charging Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic, field-based team focused on the commissioning, maintenance, and support of fast, rapid, and ultra-rapid EV chargers. Your role involves servicing, upgrading, and troubleshooting AC and DC EV chargers while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. You will conduct electrical testing, periodic inspections, and manage stock levels for your vehicle. The position requires effective communication with contractors and customers, handling emergency repairs, and supporting out-of-hours work as part of a standby rota. You will complete product training, including National Highways Sector Scheme accreditation and customer-specific training, which may involve overseas travel. Additionally, you may assist engineers working on traffic signals and associated equipment and support other areas as needed, sometimes requiring overnight stays. Experience
- Experience working with low and medium voltage electrical systems
- Experience working with IT equipment

Qualifications
Essential:
- Full driving license
Desirable:
- Level 3 Electrical qualification (e.g., EAL, City & Guilds)
- ECS Gold Card and City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2921-31-32-33 or equivalent
- 18th edition BS7671 qualification
- Experience with photovoltaic panel systems
- Experience with battery energy storage systems
- HERS registered
