Up to £40,000 depending on skills and experience
About the Role
We are recruiting a Field Operations Specialist to join our Waste Water Networks Operations team. This key operational role involves leading field investigations into complex operational problems within our wastewater network, identifying solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will ensure contractors work safely and comply with business Health and Safety procedures. A strong focus will be on delivering timely resolutions to customers and stakeholders, making customer and stakeholder management essential.
The Northwest London team aims to blend people, data, and technology to deliver excellent service for our communities and the environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading complex and technical activities within the catchment area
- Delivering operational and customer performance through effective liaison with customers and key stakeholders such as Local Authorities
- Engaging with contractors, customers, councils, and wider stakeholders to ensure timely work delivery with minimal disruption
- Championing continuous improvement by promoting best practices and sharing local knowledge
- Ensuring adherence to stringent Health & Safety standards, regulatory compliance, and delivering excellent customer service
- Acting as an Out of Hours Co-ordinator on a rota basis, providing telephone assistance and support for escalations
Experience
- Significant relevant industry experience and understanding of the business
- Previous experience managing contractor relationships
- Experience working within a regulated environment
- Knowledge of Health and Safety practices
- Full clean UK driving licence is essential
