About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Director to lead our journey toward a sustainable, low-carbon future in logistics. This key leadership role will develop and execute a global logistics sustainability strategy focused on transportation and warehousing. You will define ambitious CO₂ reduction targets aligned with corporate climate goals and create a comprehensive decarbonization roadmap emphasizing technology adoption and operational optimization.
Core responsibilities include establishing emissions baselines for Scope 1, 2, and 3 using recognized methodologies, collaborating with Climate and Sustainability teams to ensure accurate data and reporting, and implementing global data collection processes and KPIs to monitor emissions.
You will assess decarbonization opportunities such as route optimization, alternative fuels, and warehouse energy efficiency, conducting cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making. Partnering with Procurement, you will integrate sustainability criteria into RFPs and contracts and co-lead supplier engagement programs to drive CO₂ reduction.
The role involves leading the global implementation of sustainability initiatives, managing governance structures across Procurement, Logistics, and Sustainability teams, and serving as a subject-matter expert on logistics decarbonization. You will collaborate with external partners and communicate progress to executives, playing a pivotal role in accelerating the company’s transition to a low-carbon logistics network.
At LEGO, we value wellbeing, creativity, and community. Benefits include enhanced family care leave, life and disability insurance, colleague discounts from day one, a bonus scheme based on performance, and a supportive hybrid workplace environment.
