About the Role
Are you ready to shape the future of sustainable procurement through data-driven insights? Bring your passion for sustainability risk and responsible sourcing and join the LEGO Group's Global Procurement team to build a more resilient supply chain with groundbreaking data analytics. As the Sustainability Risk and Traceability Manager, you will drive our sustainable sourcing agenda by employing advanced data analytics to manage environmental and human rights risks throughout our supply chains. You will build and maintain the traceability infrastructure that enhances upstream visibility across both direct and indirect procurement categories. This strategic role focuses on developing complex data analytics and digital tools, collaborating closely with teams across Global Procurement, Corporate Sustainability, Legal, Government Affairs, Digital Technology, Quality, and more.

Main responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive risk framework addressing human rights and environmental risks, integrating it into procurement processes and systems.
- Creating and maintaining a sophisticated database to identify, evaluate, and mitigate sustainability risks by commodity, location, and supplier, converting results into actionable insights and strategic plans.
- Enhancing tracking of critical metrics to improve supply chain sustainability risk and resilience management, coordinating regular reviews and progress reports for key partners.
- Assisting with regulatory impact assessments and incorporating compliance requirements into the supply chain risk framework and processes.
- Identifying and implementing new processes, tools, and digital solutions to advance sustainability risk management.
- Supporting the development and execution of a multi-year roadmap to achieve supply chain transparency across key commodities and procurement categories.
- Establishing clear processes for chain of custody data collection, verification, and maintenance.
- Evaluating, implementing, and managing advanced traceability tools and platforms, partnering with Procurement Transformation and Digital Technology for integration and operationalization.
- Monitoring global and industry traceability methodologies and standards to ensure alignment with leading frameworks.
- Collecting, consolidating, and analysing external supply chain risk and traceability data to influence sourcing decisions and support compliance standards.

You will join the freshly formed Sustainable Sourcing team, a vital part of advancing the LEGO Group’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda by elevating the sustainability performance of the company’s supplier base. This dynamic team works closely with various departments to connect business strategy with global product categories and regional procurement teams, delivering effective sourcing outcomes.
