About the Role
The Neighbourhood Delivery service is at the heart of delivering essential services to residents in Dacorum, including parks and open spaces, trees and woodlands, street cleansing, grounds maintenance, cemeteries and bereavement services, and parking services. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Greenspaces and Projects Manager to lead teams managing Dacorum’s parks, open spaces, trees, and woodlands. The postholder will play a pivotal role in the delivery and development of Suitable Alternative Nature Greenspace (SANG) sites within the borough and act as the Council lead and champion for biodiversity and Nature Recovery.

In addition, the role involves working collaboratively across the Neighbourhood Operations Directorate and the wider Council to drive service improvements, including delivering efficiencies, whole service transformation, and implementing digital solutions to enhance public accessibility. This is a key leadership position requiring a proactive and strategic approach to managing high-profile front-line services and projects.

Experience
Proven experience and knowledge in delivering high-profile and front-line services, managing teams across multiple service areas, site management, and stakeholder engagement (both internal and external). Strong project and programme management skills, along with service planning, improvement, and delivery expertise.

Qualifications
