About the Role
Help us drive safety across our Logistics and Waste operations. We are seeking a proactive and motivated Health and Safety Advisor to support our Logistics and Waste Management divisions. You will work closely with managers, drivers, operational teams and site personnel to maintain high safety standards, drive compliance and promote a positive health and safety culture across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with health and safety experience who enjoys being out in the operation, building relationships and supporting teams to work safely and effectively.
Key responsibilities include conducting site inspections, audits and workplace safety assessments; providing practical health and safety advice and support to operational teams; investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and helping implement corrective actions; supporting the development of risk assessments and safe systems of work; delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings and awareness campaigns; monitoring compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures; producing health and safety reports and performance data; and promoting a positive and proactive safety culture across all sites and depots.

Experience
Experience within logistics, transport, waste management or recycling operations is essential.
About you
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. You should be proactive, motivated and enjoy supporting teams to work safely and effectively.
Qualifications
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) is required. Full UK Driving Licence is essential. IOSH Membership (or working towards) is desirable. Experience delivering training and toolbox talks and knowledge of ISO management systems are advantageous.
