Salary
Basic salary £38,000 per year
On-target earnings £45,000
Additional salary for overtime/on-call £2,500 annual bonus
About the Role

As a Heat Pump Engineer, you will work as part of a team installing low carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps. You will receive comprehensive training at our state-of-the-art £10m training centre, gaining the confidence to install equipment, solve challenges, and provide low carbon advice to customers.
You will use your knowledge and experience of heat pump installations to deliver an outstanding customer experience, review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings, and work alongside electricians to commission Air Source Heat Pumps.
In this role, you will lead a team, taking responsibility for your crew and empowering them to make on-the-fly decisions that benefit both the team and customers.

Experience
Proven experience in the installation of boilers is essential; experience with air source heat pumps is a plus.
Experienced plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and fault finding.
Knowledge of domestic hot & cold water systems.
Experience reviewing and challenging technical specifications and mechanical drawings.
Basic competency in electrical work is desirable.
Experience with hydraulic systems and design & quality standards (CIBSE & MCS) is advantageous but not essential.
F-gas certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications
Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent experience) within the Plumbing and Heating pathway.
Full, clean Driving Licence.
Desirable qualifications include WRAS Water Supply Regulations, UHW10/HWSS Unvented DHW Storage Systems, Gas Safe certification, and BPEC Level 3 or equivalent in heat pump installation.
