About the Role
DHL Supply Chain is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to support the site HSE Manager and wider HSE team at our Rugby location. You will play a vital role in coordinating daily warehouse and distribution health, safety, and environmental requirements. This includes collaborating across all levels to produce and amend site H&S documentation, ensuring compliance with legislation and responsibilities. You will gain a thorough understanding of operational processes to support risk assessments and documentation production. In the event of any H&S incidents, you will assist the operational team to ensure correct processes and paperwork are completed and logged. Additionally, you will create H&S improvement plans, work towards targets, and provide day-to-day Safety, Health, and Environmental advice to maintain statutory compliance. You will also assist with the development, implementation, and communication of relevant HSE policies and contribute to meeting annual Safety, Health, and Environmental objectives.

Experience
Previous experience in a HSE role or having taken on HSE responsibilities is required. Experience working within a warehouse environment is beneficial. Exposure to HSE systems such as Logics is desirable.

About you
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across internal and external workforces. Confident in delivering training enthusiastically and capable of addressing individuals not following H&S procedures.

Qualifications
IOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or willingness to work towards a fully funded qualification by DHL.
