About the Role
DHL Supply Chain is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to support the site HSE Manager and wider HSE team at our Rugby location. You will play a vital role in coordinating daily warehouse and distribution health, safety, and environmental requirements. Key responsibilities include collaborating across all levels to produce and amend site H&S documentation, understanding operational processes to assess risks and produce relevant documentation, and supporting the operational team during H&S incidents to ensure correct processes and paperwork are completed and logged. You will also create H&S improvement plans, work towards safety targets, and provide day-to-day Safety, Health, and Environmental advice to ensure compliance with statutory legislation. Additionally, you will assist with the development, implementation, and communication of all relevant HSE policies and help meet annual Safety, Health, and Environmental objectives.

Experience
Previous experience in a HSE role or having taken on HSE responsibilities is required. Experience working within a warehouse environment is beneficial. Exposure to HSE systems such as Logics is desirable.

About you
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across internal and external workforces. Able to deliver training enthusiastically and address individuals not following H&S procedures effectively.

Qualifications
IOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or willingness to work towards a fully funded qualification by DHL.
