We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA) or Control and Instrumentation (C&I) technician to join our Water Production Operations Team. This is a mobile role, requiring work on various Water Treatment Works and borehole sites around the Chingford, Walthamstow, Waltham Abbey, and Stonebridge Park areas. The role includes installations, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs of water production assets, including level instrumentation, flow meters, and Tand VM’s turbidity monitors. You will work with technology such as SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, associated PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and Process control networks. A strong practical understanding of operational assets and control systems is essential. Solid understanding of SCADA systems and experience with relay logic and PLCs (Rockwell & Allen-Bradley) is required. Ability to read and fault find from circuit diagrams and previous experience with inverter drives is preferred.
