About the Role
The Landscaper will play a key role in delivering a broad range of ecological and landscaping projects that support Ecosulis’ mission to accelerate nature recovery through rewilding. Responsibilities include creating and enhancing habitats such as woodlands, wetlands, and wildflower meadows, as well as general land maintenance and site restoration works. You will assist with habitat creation and restoration, invasive species control, sustainable land management, soil and vegetation monitoring, and operate landscaping tools and machinery safely. The role involves site preparation, aftercare, and close collaboration with ecologists, project managers, and other field teams to ensure smooth project delivery. You will also communicate effectively with clients, landowners, and the public, promoting Ecosulis’ rewilding mission. The position requires adherence to health and safety procedures and sustainability goals, with flexibility to work across multiple sites, sometimes in remote or challenging conditions, including travel and overnight stays when necessary.

Experience
Essential: Previous hands-on experience in landscaping or environmental projects involving land management, ecological restoration, or site preparation. Familiarity with using landscaping tools and machinery, planting schemes, and working in outdoor, site-based environments.
Desirable: Experience in habitat creation projects such as wildflower meadows, wetlands, woodland planting, or pond creation. Understanding of ecological principles underpinning habitat restoration and rewilding.

Qualifications
Essential: CSCS Card, Full UK driving licence with use of own vehicle, Relevant tickets including strimming, ride-on mower, and brush cutter.
Desirable: Trailer towing and banksman qualifications.
