About the Role
This role sits within the Water and Nature Projects Team, part of the Sustainable Water and Nature Group at Natural Resources Wales (NRW). You will work collaboratively with colleagues from various teams and Directorates across NRW, as well as with Welsh Government and other cross-sectoral partners at both Welsh and UK levels. Your work will support the delivery of a complex and high-profile programme focused on water quality improvements in protected areas. This is a new team established to implement innovative strategies addressing water quality challenges in these sensitive environments.
Experience
- Proven experience in water quality management or related environmental fields
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and organisations
- Experience managing complex projects and delivering high-profile programmes
About you
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with external partners
- Commitment to environmental protection and sustainable water management
- Welsh language skills are desirable and may be required at a certain level
Qualifications
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in environmental science, water management, or a related discipline
- Evidence of continuous professional development in water quality or environmental management is advantageous
