About the Role
Charnwood Borough Council is seeking a Learning and Organisational Development Officer to organise and coordinate the Council’s Corporate Learning programme. This role is central to providing and delivering a wide range of training programmes across the organisation, including Induction, appraisal, and Apprenticeship requirements, as well as leading on the Council’s Workforce Development Strategy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the strategy by supporting various corporate projects and initiatives. This is an exciting new role within the Council, offering the chance to make a significant impact on organisational learning and development.

Experience
Proven experience in a similar learning and organisational development role is essential. Knowledge of learning and development interventions and their impact on individual and organisational performance is required.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels. You should be motivated, proactive, and able to support and lead corporate projects and initiatives effectively.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in learning and development, human resources, or a related field would be advantageous but are not explicitly stated as mandatory.
