About the Role
Charnwood Borough Council is seeking two passionate Electricians to join the Landlord Services Team. You will be responsible for the maintenance of electrical systems within council properties, including domestic electrical works, responsive repairs, installation of new circuits and accessories, and testing and inspection of electrical systems. The role involves working in tenanted and void properties across the Charnwood area and collaborating with other trades to ensure high-quality completion of works. You will also participate in the out-of-hours call-out service. A full driving licence is essential, and a van, power tools, and uniform will be provided for council business use. Experience
Experience working as an electrician in domestic or similar environments is essential. Ability to work effectively within a team and manage responsive repairs and installations.

Customer focused, team player with excellent organisational skills and computer literacy. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and a commitment to improving local communities. A full driving licence is essential.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation Work
- Approved Electrician certification or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
- BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations
