About the Role
Shape the future of water by joining Stantec’s Major Projects team in the UK. The UK's regulated water sector is entering a period of unprecedented investment, and Stantec is at the forefront of this transformation. Following Stantec’s appointment as Primary Designer for the multibillion-pound Scottish Water Enterprise, we are embarking on the largest investment programme in Scottish Water’s history. This landmark partnership, potentially extending to 2039, places Stantec at the heart of modernising Scotland’s water and wastewater networks—from improving drinking water quality to enhancing nationwide water resilience. Alongside a strong AMP8 pipeline and newly secured framework wins, we are expanding our Major Projects teams across the UK.

We invite Expressions of Interest from experienced professionals eager to lead the delivery of major projects across the regulated water sector, with a focus on the Design & Build (D&B) environment. This is a unique opportunity to work on some of the largest and most complex projects in the UK water sector.

We are interested in professionals with experience in Design & Construct (D&C) for Major Projects, including but not limited to: Design Managers, Project Planners, Project Technical Leads, Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and CAD / Digital Designers.

Stantec’s AMP8 campaign has secured significant opportunities with most UK and Ireland Water Companies, covering feasibility studies, planning, design for construction, construction management, operations, and maintenance. Experience
Proven experience working in Design & Construct (D&C) environments for major projects within the water sector. Experience in roles such as Design Manager, Project Planner, Project Technical Lead, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, or CAD / Digital Designer is highly desirable.
