38 Hours Monday - Friday 7:30 am– 3:36 pm plus standby and overtime opportunities.

Salary
Up to £45,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

About the Role
We are recruiting Mechanical and Electrical Technicians to join our Water Production team and work out of our Chingford or Coppermills Water Treatment Works. As a successful candidate, you will work in multi-disciplinary teams and carry out scheduled, planned, reactive, out-of-hours, and emergency maintenance work on mechanical and electrical equipment in compliance with company procedures to minimise plant breakdown. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference. Your responsibilities will include investigating plant failures and carrying out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid interruptions to the process, carrying out planned maintenance work on electrical equipment, providing technical advice to the broader team, and using technical equipment such as pumps, 3-phase motors, electronic control systems, and programmable logic controllers.

Experience
You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in mechanical/electrical systems or with NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical/electrical engineering.

About you
A problem solver, able to identify potential issues and implement solutions. An excellent communicator, resilient, and able to work with minimum supervision. Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety issues relevant to the industry. Team player who can work in many different teams, showing respect for others and supporting the development of others. Full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications
NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical/electrical engineering is preferred.
