Hours
Full Time - 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:36 pm, plus standby and overtime opportunities.

Salary
Up to £37,680 per annum, depending on skills and experience, with potential earnings increase of £8,000-£10,000 through standby and overtime.

About the Role
We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance team at our Coppermills Water Treatment Site. As the successful candidate, your role will be to ensure that all equipment at our water treatment works is running safely and efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods. You will be actively helping to reduce pollution from our sites. Your responsibilities will include investigating plant failures, performing repairs quickly and efficiently, providing technical advice, and completing statutory checks while always working safely and complying with Health and Safety guidance.

Experience
Time-served apprentice with considerable experience in Mechanical systems.

About you
Self-motivated individual with a disciplined approach, a desire to learn, and a can-do attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for teamwork and proactive engagement in site improvements.

Qualifications
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical engineering qualification. A valid driving license is essential. Knowledge and awareness of health and safety procedures are required.
