Up to £49,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

About the Role
We are recruiting a Performance Manager to join our Mogden wastewater operations team. This is a critical front-line role within Waste Treatment, responsible for the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy of the site through effective leadership and resource management. You will lead and manage your team in line with company policies, ensuring competence through coaching and training to maximise potential.
Health and safety are central to this role, with responsibility for implementing and maintaining high standards across the site and team. You will identify, mitigate, resolve, and escalate risks as necessary.
You will deliver a consistent approach to asset operation and maintenance to ensure a cost-efficient, robust, and safe 24/7 operation. Managing the budget effectively in terms of health & safety, compliance, people, and performance is essential, including regular performance review sessions.
Driving a culture of continuous improvement and best practice, you will ensure a safe and reliable service for our customers.

Experience
- Proven management experience, ideally in process or operational management.
- Previous experience within wastewater treatment or a similar environment is highly desirable.
- Experience managing environmental compliance or permits is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in environmental, engineering, finance, health & safety, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Strong computer skills are desirable.
