About the Role
We are recruiting a Performance Manager to join our Mogden wastewater operations team. This is a critical front-line role within Waste Treatment, responsible for the day-to-day operations and long-term strategy of the site through effective leadership and resource management. You will lead your team by company policies, ensuring competence through coaching and training to maximise potential. Health and safety are central to this role, requiring you to implement and uphold safety standards across the site and team. You will identify, mitigate, resolve, and escalate risks, delivering a consistent approach to asset operation and maintenance to ensure a cost-efficient, robust, and safe 24/7 operation. Managing the budget effectively across health & safety, compliance, people, and performance is essential. You will drive a culture of continuous improvement and best practice to deliver a safe service to customers.

Experience
- Proven management experience, ideally in process or operational management
- Previous experience within wastewater treatment or a similar environment is highly desirable
- Experience managing environmental compliance or permits is highly desirable
- Strong skills in environmental, engineering, finance, health & safety, and stakeholder engagement

- Excellent people and performance management skills to lead a team with mixed skills and abilities
- Strong organisational and risk management capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills are desirable
- A strong commitment to health and safety and customer-focused ethics
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Science, or a related field
- Valid driving licence required to travel to different sites
