The PMO Planning Lead will be responsible for leading the planning team in the development and management of the overall schedule management, considering all methodologies required to develop and manage the schedule including working and reporting calendars, resources, costs, interfaces, claims, risks, constraints and assumptions. The role holder will provide leadership in scheduling and resourcing throughout the delivery of AMP8, ensuring compliance with the schedule management plan across the project, including by the Project Delivery Partner and the appointed contractor(s). Key responsibilities include establishing performance measurement baselines utilising Anglian Water coding structures to support periodic updates and reporting consistent with contract and professional standards (e.g. EVM); developing people, systems, tools and processes that provide exemplar governance and standards in Planning Management; providing expert leadership in organisation and capability solutions across the Anglian Water portfolio; serving as a subject matter expert and visible leader, providing direction and guidance within the Planning community and stakeholders; implementing the IPC Framework with guidance, tailoring and support where required; allocating Planning resources and supporting recruitment, development and succession planning for Planning roles within the PDP; and performing additional tasks or duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience
10+ years’ experience in schedule management with a proven track record of conducting schedule management activities in high value water projects or projects of similar regulated environment and scale/complexity. Experience with NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4), particularly compensation events and programme requirements is essential.

Qualifications
APM PMQ or Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) is highly desirable. PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP Practitioner, or equivalent delivery framework experience. Planning and Scheduling certifications such as APM Project Planning and Controls (PPC) or PSP/PMI-SP are required.
