About the Role
We are seeking a talented Principal Civil Engineer to join our Water division and work on exciting, high-impact water projects across the UK. You will be involved in the entire project lifecycle including asset planning, strategy, concept design, outline design, and detailed design. Our projects span clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage. You will lead civil engineering teams and collaborate closely with project design leads to ensure successful delivery and outcomes for our clients. You will also have access to Stantec’s world-class expertise to support cutting-edge design solutions. Our work focuses on sustainable development and infrastructure that adapts to and mitigates climate change, while reducing environmental impacts and improving social outcomes.

Experience
Proven experience as a Civil Engineer working on water, environmental, or related infrastructure projects. Demonstrated success in project delivery and leading civil engineering teams. Experience in client-facing roles with regular client engagement and collaboration.

About you
A passion for the water and environment sector and a commitment to supporting the development of junior civil engineers. Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams. Motivated to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

Qualifications
Chartered or Incorporated membership with a relevant professional body such as ICE or CIWEM is highly desirable.
