Are you an experienced Process Engineer with a preference for clean water projects and a passion for sustainable solutions? From preparing utilities for exceptionally low rainfall summers in the North, to shaping the UK’s long-term water supply resilience through water transfer, storage, and recycling projects in the South, our clean water process team is involved in impactful projects that truly benefit the communities we serve.

We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer to join our clean water team, working on a range of projects spanning AMP cycle and Strategic Resource Options schemes. As part of an integrated national team, you will have the opportunity to work across the UK with a primary focus on clients in the North of England, Scotland, and Ireland. Projects may include new treatment plant design, long-term strategic resource schemes, optimising existing assets, and deploying source-to-tap solutions for emerging threats such as PFAS.

Day-to-day activities include onsite test work, new system design, and supporting utility business plans. We are a global organisation committed to a “one team” approach, collaborating closely with colleagues worldwide to deliver innovative and sustainable water solutions.

Experience
- Chartered status preferred with demonstrable experience in clean water process engineering (design, science, or operation).
- Experience or willingness to learn onsite testing techniques such as jar testing to improve asset performance.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
