Hours
36 hours per week across a 12-hour rotating shift pattern.

Salary
Up to £43,500 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

About the Role
We are seeking a Process Controller to join our Mogden Sewage Treatment Works as a key member of the area operations team. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the Sewage Treatment Works, including the plant and equipment. Your duties will include carrying out high voltage and related low voltage switching operations, monitoring, collating and reporting data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, and meeting regulatory quality standards and customer demand. You will process faults and advise on suitable rectifications, raise issues to the Maintenance Scheduler or Team Leader as required, and carry out isolations to plant while issuing Permits to Work as part of a safe system of work. Additionally, you will assist with on-site capital project works, coordinate maintenance and operational personnel, raise reactive work requests, monitor stock levels, and manage deliveries. Safety and security checks are a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring the health and safety of yourself and colleagues. You will operate and monitor processes from the Control room using SCADA and, when necessary, perform operations and inspections in the process area.

Requirements

Experience
Ability to demonstrate logical thinking, attention to detail, and effective workload management. Experience with SCADA systems is beneficial. Proven ability to work unsupervised on 12-hour shifts, including days and nights. Competent in using company IT systems.

Full UK driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role.

Qualifications
Qualification in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation (M, E or ICA) is advantageous. Relevant technical qualifications such as City and Guilds, ONC/OND, HNC/HND or equivalent are preferred. Being an Appointed Person for High Voltage (electrical work) or the ability to complete the AP(HV) course is desirable.
