About the Role
This is an exciting role where you will be overseeing the Sewage Treatment Process, playing a key part in the site’s day-to-day operations and a crucial role in keeping the River Thames clean while contributing towards green power generation. No two working days are the same, providing a challenging, interesting, and rewarding environment. You will receive full training and support covering Health & Safety, technical, and process requirements related to the plant.

Key responsibilities include controlling the day-to-day operation of work processes, operating the site according to company requirements and regulatory quality standards, and meeting customer demand. You will process faults and advise on suitable rectifications, raising issues to the Maintenance Scheduler or Performance Managers as needed. The role involves carrying out isolations to plant and issuing Permits to Work as part of a safe system of work, assisting with on-site capital project works, coordinating maintenance and operational personnel, and raising reactive work when required. Additionally, you will monitor stock levels, request and take deliveries, and collate and report data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance is met.

Annual leave starts at 24 days per year, increasing to 28 with length of service, plus bank holidays. Pension scheme offers a maximum of 12% employer contribution (2x employee contribution). Performance Related Pay Plan (PRPP) offers up to 6% of salary (3% on target). Personal medical assessments are available annually. Experience
- Experience managing or controlling industrial processes in a similar industry is essential.
- Previous experience working with permitting procedures and isolations.
- Ability to work unsupervised and willingness to cover shifts if required.
- Understanding of operational health and safety procedures and perimeters.

Qualifications
- Completion of an Engineering NVQ Level 2, BTEC, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with SCADA systems would be an advantage.
- Full UK Driving Licence is required.
