About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Process Technician (Advanced) to join our wastewater team at the prestigious Western (Pimlico) Strategic Pumping Station in Chelsea. As part of a shift team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running and operation of the station. Your duties will include running the station, operating the plant, performing routine checks, front-line maintenance, and problem-solving to ensure continuous service within the network of operations. You will monitor local networks and pumping stations via SCADA and oversee all site activities, including those carried out by contractors. The role may require the use of specialist electrical, mechanical, or ICA skills. You will ensure statutory and regulatory compliance through plant operation, cleaning, basic maintenance, fault-finding, monitoring, data collation, and reporting. Additional responsibilities include process fault finding with suitable first-fix rectification, undertaking health and safety and security checks, completing planned and preventive maintenance to ensure compliant plant operation, and taking personal responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and colleagues.

Experience
Experience in a relevant industrial processing or engineering environment is ideal. Experience with computer skills and data input/enquiry is essential.
About you
You should be a problem solver with excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, able to implement timely and effective solutions to operational problems. You must be willing to learn, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required, and you must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures, including Confined Space Entry.
Qualifications
You should be working towards or possess an NVQ Level 2 or a similar qualification relevant to the role.
