38 Hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:36 pm, plus standby & overtime opportunities for which you will receive additional payment.

Salary
Starting from £27,500 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

About the Role
We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to work as part of a close and supportive Operations team within Strategic Pumping and Trunk Sewers. You will focus on maintaining and improving our strategic pumping stations across North-East London and supporting the team on larger-scale projects. This role is essential for performing a range of activities to ensure that all the plant and equipment associated with strategic pumping stations and trunk sewers in London are kept serviceable and ready to be operated safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include completing routine checks, basic planned preventative maintenance, and problem-solving to ensure the smooth running of the pumping station, monitoring checks to ensure the plant is running efficiently, and completing safety tasks to ensure the site is safe.

Experience
No specific background in the Water industry is required; we welcome applications from candidates outside of the sector.

You should be a self-motivated individual who can immerse themselves into the team, disciplined, eager to learn, and possess a can-do attitude. You must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures and have knowledge and awareness of health and safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with the team, and you should be proactive in taking the lead on recommendations and improvements around the site.
