About the Role
We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to join our Mogden Sewage Treatment team. No prior experience in the water industry is required; we welcome applications from candidates outside the sector who can bring fresh perspectives and ideas. You will be part of the frontline operations team covering sewage treatment sites, playing an essential role that the business cannot operate without. Every day is different, working in all weather conditions and carrying out a range of tasks to ensure the wastewater treatment works operate efficiently, maintaining supply to customers and protecting the environment. Your responsibilities will include planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of equipment to support plant operations.
Key duties include:
- Carrying out scheduled planned maintenance on plant and equipment in compliance with company standards to improve plant resilience
- Operating and cleaning plant and equipment to maintain operational and health and safety standards
- Attending to reactive jobs following plant and equipment failure
- Keeping sites clean and tidy and undertaking safety and security checks
- Always working safely and complying with all Health and Safety guidance and procedures

Experience
No previous experience in the water industry is required. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications
Full UK driving licence is essential. No other formal qualifications are required, but training will be provided to support your development.
