About the Role

As a Project Controls Manager, you will deliver and implement a range of PMO and Project Controls services to designated projects within the PMO and planning centre of excellence. You will be responsible for managing safe, high-quality, and compliant delivery while promoting wellbeing, inclusion, and strong PMO and project controls standards. Your role includes shaping and implementing effective PMO and Project Controls frameworks, strengthening industry engagement, and growing specialist expertise. You will manage teams across cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting, supporting long-term strategic development. Fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and best practice, supporting resourcing needs, and contributing to a sustainable future are key aspects of this role. You will deliver effective PMO and Project Controls support, ensuring consistent application of frameworks and day-to-day performance management. Providing clear technical guidance across cost, schedule, change, risk, and governance requirements is essential. Building strong client relationships and collaborating to address risks, opportunities, and actions will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will support integration across PMO, Planning, and Project Controls while contributing to net-zero ambitions.

Experience
Extensive delivery-phase experience across complex property or infrastructure programmes. Proven leadership of diverse teams with strong commercial, financial and senior stakeholder management capability.
About you
Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent) with strong ongoing development. Awareness of carbon and sustainability impacts. Ability to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing and best practice. Strong client relationship skills and ability to support integration across PMO, Planning and Project Controls.
