About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. We are delivering a range of PMO and Project Controls services to support the delivery of a nationally significant infrastructure project in Immingham. This role will primarily be remote based but requires regular site visits. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large scale infrastructure, marine, ports, transport or heavy civil projects. Experience with project reporting from a cost, control, scheduling and/or risk perspective is highly desirable.

As Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a range of PMO and Project Controls performance on assigned commissions with support and mentorship from senior PMO, Project Controls or Project/Programme Management teams. You will guide the effective implementation of PMO and Project Controls frameworks and strategies, partner with internal and external stakeholders to build strong professional relationships with clients and client representatives, and deliver monthly reports while facilitating performance reporting and reviews.

You will identify development opportunities in PMO and Project Controls methodologies such as Earned Value Management (EVM), drive integration of PMO and Planning disciplines including Risk Management and Planning, and develop alignment of PMO and Project Controls activities to the Mace control centre, client requirements and relevant legislation.

Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, you will share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.

Our values underpin everything we do: safety first, client focus, integrity, and creating opportunities for our people to excel. Mace is an inclusive employer welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds. We are open to discussing part-time, flexible, and hybrid working options where suitable within the role.
