About the Role
As a Project Support Officer focusing on Climate Change and Sustainability, you will play a key role in supporting Arun District Council's initiatives to address climate change and promote sustainable practices across the district. You will assist in the development, coordination, and delivery of projects aimed at reducing environmental impact and enhancing community resilience. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental change within a local government setting, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve strategic sustainability goals.

Experience
Experience in project support or coordination, preferably within environmental, sustainability, or local government sectors, is desirable.

About you
You will be proactive, organized, and passionate about climate change and sustainability. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications
A relevant qualification in environmental science, sustainability, project management, or a related field is advantageous but not essential. A willingness to learn and develop in this area is important.
