About the Role

As a Recreation Ranger, you will ensure seamless day-to-day visitor operations, delivering excellent visitor experiences while maintaining a welcoming and safe environment. You will engage with local communities to cultivate meaningful relationships, maintain recreational opportunities, and respond to visitor enquiries. Your role will contribute to the overall safety of the visitor experience, drive efficiencies and income generation opportunities, and strengthen community connections. Together, we create amazing places and experiences, provide vital homes for wildlife, improve air quality, and produce sustainable timber.

Experience
Relevant experience in visitor engagement, community liaison, or recreational management is desirable. Experience working in outdoor or forestry environments is advantageous.

Qualifications
There are no specific qualifications required; however, relevant experience and a willingness to learn and develop professionally are essential. Successful candidates will undergo a criminal record check and government baseline personnel security standard check. The ability to communicate accurately in spoken English is essential.
