Location
Initially based at Forestry England's Yorkshire Office, Outgang Road, Pickering, YO18 7EL. The post will move to the Dalby Forest Office in Autumn 2027. Regular travel around Forestry England's estate in Yorkshire is required, with occasional trips outside Yorkshire for Forestry England-wide meetings, which may require overnight stays.

About the Role

As a Civil Engineering Works Supervisor, you will support the district’s civil engineering team by planning, delivering, and supervising work sites for civil engineering construction and maintenance projects. You will be part of a team responsible for inspecting and maintaining civil engineering infrastructure assets such as forest roads, car parks, and bridges. You will champion a strong health and safety culture, promoting the principle of ‘look out and look after’ in all civil engineering works. Experience
Relevant experience in civil engineering construction, maintenance, or supervision is desirable. Experience working within a team delivering infrastructure inspection and maintenance programmes is advantageous.
