About the Role

As a Recreation Ranger on the Thetford Beat, you will ensure seamless day-to-day visitor operations, maintain a welcoming and safe environment, and deliver excellent visitor experiences. You will engage with local communities to cultivate meaningful relationships, maintain recreational opportunities, and respond to visitor enquiries. Your role will contribute to visitor safety, drive efficiencies and income generation, and strengthen community connections. You will be part of a team that creates amazing places and experiences, supports wildlife habitats, improves air quality, and produces sustainable timber.

Experience
Relevant experience in visitor engagement, recreation management, or related fields is desirable. Experience working with communities and delivering excellent customer service will be advantageous.

Qualifications
There are no specific qualification requirements stated; however, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to the role are essential. Successful candidates will undergo a criminal record check and government baseline personnel security standard check. The ability to communicate effectively in accurate spoken English is required.
