About the Role
As a Recycling Operative with OCS Group UK, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment within the Shopping Centre and Arndale Tower. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and offering a friendly meet and greet. You will ensure all areas of the shopping centre and back of house are kept clean and free from hazards, following correct procedures for waste disposal and segregation into the appropriate waste streams.

You will be responsible for operating equipment such as compactors, balers, P250 tow tractors with trailers, and forklifts (FLT), adhering to all safety protocols and speed limits. Pre-use inspections of equipment must be completed and logged accurately. You will also undertake cleaning duties in back of house areas, including corridors and bin rooms, ensuring they are clean and clear of hazards.

Health and safety is paramount; you will follow all company procedures and wear the correct personal protective equipment and uniform at all times to maintain the company’s professional image. Training will be provided, including IMPACT cleaning methods and equipment operation, and you must be willing to attend any additional training as required.

Additional duties may be assigned by your supervisor or line manager to support the smooth running of operations.

Qualifications
