
Location
Kentish Town, London (NW5 1TN) with occasional travel to South London as required.
Hours
45 hours per week on a shift pattern, including a standby rota with additional payment.
Salary
Starting salary of £30,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
About the Role
As a Repair & Maintenance Operative, you will be part of a two-person team responsible for carrying out essential maintenance and repairs across Thames Water’s North London water network. You will ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards. The role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and repair tasks. You will be provided with a van and full PPE to support your work. Experience
- Previous experience or training in a manual handling environment is essential.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Competence in using computers and other IT equipment is advantageous.
- Streetworks (NRSWA) qualification, EUSR Water Hygiene card, Service Avoidance L2, and/or First Aid qualification are desirable but not essential.
