About the Role
The Repair & Maintenance Jeopardy Manager will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, mentoring and advising to ensure all Repair & Maintenance (R&M) works are set up and delivered efficiently and effectively from a Streetworks perspective. Compliance and reducing the time on site are critical measures of success. You will focus on driving down both avoidable and ‘unavoidable’ Streetworks costs (road closures, bay suspension, etc.) across the regions, which includes developing and leading a clear RACI and plan that supports the continuous delivery of R&M work, ensuring responsibilities and hand-offs are clear across the end-to-end process. You will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, mentoring and advising on works across R&M, ensuring substantial reductions in avoidable streetworks penalties and ‘unavoidable’ costs. You will ensure adherence to processes with clear lines of responsibility and real-time feedback to mitigate identified risks. As the central point of contact for streetworks issues within the region, you will provide counsel and support to prevent avoidable & unavoidable costs. Active engagement with internal and external stakeholders at all levels will ensure that relationships are managed across Water Operations and the business, building a systemised delivery path for R&M work. You will oversee and ensure that all R&M repairs are planned and executed in line with the relevant legislation and processes, ensuring that Streetworks fines are avoided. Conduct face-to-face site meetings as common practice.
