About the Role
Willmott Dixon is seeking a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Manager to provide expert guidance and support across multiple projects within the region. You will be accountable for ensuring successful safety, health, and low-risk environmental management, delivering clear feedback on performance. Your role includes advising project teams on compliance with SHE legal and company policy requirements, particularly for high-risk activities, and auditing teams to ensure adherence to legal and group standards. Key responsibilities include monitoring, advising, supporting, enforcing, and reporting on health, safety, and environmental standards; ensuring project teams effectively manage SHE risks and opportunities; conducting audits, site visits, and investigations; analysing SHE performance data to drive continuous improvement; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to share best practices and foster a proactive safety culture; and ensuring prompt and thorough responses to accidents and incidents, including internal and statutory notifications with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Experience
Proven experience in managing SHE management systems, audits, and performance is desirable. Experience in conducting site audits, investigations, and driving continuous improvement in SHE standards is essential.

Qualifications
Level 3 qualification in Occupational Safety & Health. TechIOSH membership and relevant SHE certifications such as IEMA, SEATS, or SMSTS. Valid driving license and appropriate CSCS Card.
