About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Social Value Manager to lead social value across our growing Yorkshire business, supporting projects throughout West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and the wider region. You will work closely with our customers to understand their priorities and turn them into meaningful social value plans, focusing our efforts where we can make the biggest difference to local communities. This is a leadership role where you'll take responsibility for managing and developing our Yorkshire Social Value team, building strong customer relationships and driving delivery. You will oversee social value across a variety of construction projects, working closely with customers, project teams, supply chain partners and local stakeholders to ensure our commitments translate into meaningful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include leading social value delivery across some of our largest and most strategically important projects, line managing and developing the Yorkshire Social Value team, proactively engaging with customers to build lasting relationships and identify opportunities, and leading the development, implementation and quality assurance of customer-focused social value plans. You will monitor performance against commitments, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting, support major bids and pre-construction activities, and work closely with project teams and supply chain partners to embed social value commitments.

Additionally, you will develop opportunities for local employment, apprenticeships, T-Level placements and work experience, including supporting the recruitment of management trainees. You will collaborate with wider sustainability and social value teams to share best practice, improve standards and drive continuous improvement.

Experience
- Developing and delivering customer-focused social value initiatives with a proven track record of building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Leading, managing or developing others, with the ability to coach colleagues, improve performance and build team capability.
- Developing social value plans and translating customer priorities into meaningful, measurable commitments.
- Measuring, analysing and reporting social value outcomes across different reporting platforms.
- Producing high-quality customer-facing reports.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications
- Desirable: Experience working in construction or a related industry.
