About the Role
Join CityFibre as a Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Policy & Standards Manager and lead the development and implementation of safety, health, and environmental policies across the business. This strategic role offers a hybrid working model, balancing home and office time, and places you at the heart of shaping safer, smarter workplaces. You will evolve and embed integrated management systems covering health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, ensuring policies are actively used and understood throughout the organisation. Champion continuous improvement by preparing for audits, refining documentation, and closing policy gaps in areas such as lone working and occupational health. Collaborate with teams across the business to align policies with ESG goals and introduce practical safety solutions. Through effective project management and stakeholder engagement, you will translate complex legislation into clear, actionable policies that support a safer and more sustainable workplace. Experience
- Proven expertise in SHE legislation and standards
- Experience managing ISO standards and ensuring audit readiness
- Background in lone worker safety and environmental reporting
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills

- Confident communicator with strong collaboration skills
- Keen eye for detail and ability to lead change
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive safety excellence in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled at translating complex legislation into clear, practical policies
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or demonstrable experience in safety, health, environmental management or related fields are expected to support your ability to lead policy development and implementation effectively.
