About the Role
Join CityFibre as a Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Policy & Standards Manager and lead the development and implementation of SHE policies across the business. In this strategic role, you will apply your expertise in SHE legislation and standards to drive continuous improvement and compliance. You will collaborate across teams to shape a safer, smarter, and more sustainable workplace aligned with business growth.
Your responsibilities will include evolving and embedding integrated management systems covering health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. You will bring policies to life by guiding their development, rollout, and ensuring they are actively used and understood throughout the organisation. Champion continuous improvement by preparing for audits, refining documentation, and addressing policy gaps in areas such as lone working and occupational health.
Collaboration is key as you work with teams to align policies with ESG goals and introduce practical safety solutions. You will make a real impact through project management, stakeholder engagement, and translating complex legislation into clear, actionable policies that support a safer and more sustainable workplace.

Experience
Proven experience in guiding policy development and implementation within SHE or related fields. Experience working with lone worker safety and environmental reporting is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to manage ISO standards and ensure audit readiness with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or certifications in Safety, Health, Environment, or related disciplines are preferred but not explicitly stated. A strong understanding of SHE legislation and standards is essential.
