About the Role
Equans is seeking a Security Officer to join our team on a permanent basis, providing a fully integrated guarding service operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Your role will be to ensure a professional, timely service in line with contractual requirements, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all occupants, visitors, and contractors within and around the building in Westminster. Employment is subject to obtaining security clearance, which requires 5 years’ residency in the UK and a valid British or EU passport.

Experience
Proven experience in a security role or a related field is required.
About You
- Hold a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Licence
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Clear criminal background check
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts calmly and effectively
- Basic computer literacy for logging reports and accessing security systems
Qualifications
Evidence of the right to work in the UK is mandatory. Security clearance dependent on 5 years UK residency and a valid British or EU passport. Certain roles may require a Disclosure check.
