About the Role
Equans is seeking a Technical Projects Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to join our team in London. This onsite role involves managing the technical performance and maintenance of standards on the contract, providing expert guidance on Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire systems to ensure compliant and efficient customer service delivery. You will ensure third-party delivery meets contract standards and maintain asset compliance with statutory, legislative, and company procedures. The role requires a proactive maintenance strategy and proficiency with CDM Regulations 2015.
Key responsibilities include managing technical issues, assisting with other disciplines as needed, investigating claims of defect or asset failure, and working with operational leads to improve service delivery in line with output specifications. You will contribute to the contract's financial performance by focusing on operational efficiency and subcontract procurement, ensure effective planning and control of services through data analysis, and oversee planned maintenance and reactive works by third parties.
Additional duties include surveying assets and providing technical reports, monitoring record drawings and Operations and Maintenance manuals, ensuring compliance with statutory and company procedures, and potentially undertaking Authorising Person (AP) duties with full training provided. You will develop effective working relationships with business partners, suppliers, and subcontractors, provide technical support to the wider team, and liaise with the Technical Manager to coordinate resources.

Experience
- Proven experience in a technical management role
- Experience working with Private Sector Contracts
- Familiarity with Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, and Ventilation systems
- Experience in report writing and presentations
- Previous FM experience within hospital and/or PFI environments is advantageous

Qualifications
- Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely)
