About the Role
We are looking for a Seepage Technician to join our dedicated operational excellence team. In this role, you will carry out thorough investigations in the surrounding area of specific cases to identify any potential leaks causing seepage. This includes general leak detection activities such as sounding fittings, correlating, logging, and pinpointing leaks.

Your responsibilities will include taking a lead on Health and Safety by wearing the correct PPE and identifying and reporting safety observations or hazards that pose a risk of injury. You will train and coach less experienced staff in all forms of seepage investigations and learn new leakage detection methods, becoming capable in carrying them out. You will work towards and aim to exceed any given targets, keep your work vehicle, tools, and PPE clean and tidy, and provide information to the Team Leader and Management Team on works carried out. Additionally, you will attend company courses and complete all mandatory training including Lifting and Team Operations (LTO).

Annual leave starts at 24 days per year, increasing to 28 with length of service (plus bank holidays). Requirements

Experience
- Proven track record in open sounding and leakage detection techniques
- Water network knowledge
- Client management and customer satisfaction experience

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Responsible and target-driven
- Computer literate
- Ability to train and coach less experienced staff
- Previous knowledge of basic validation activities and quantifications is desirable (training will be provided)

Qualifications
- LUCAS Card Training (TFL) required
- Commitment to complete all mandatory training including LTO
