£28,970 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

About the Role
We are looking for a Seepage Technician to join our dedicated operational excellence team. You will carry out thorough investigations in the surrounding area of specific cases to identify any potential leaks causing seepage. This includes general leak detection activities such as sounding fittings, correlating, logging, and pinpointing leaks.

Key responsibilities include:
- Taking a lead on Health and Safety by wearing the correct PPE and identifying and reporting safety observations or hazards that pose a risk of injury.
- Training and coaching less experienced staff in all forms of seepage investigations.
- Learning and applying new leakage detection methods.
- Working towards and exceeding set targets.
- Keeping your work vehicle, tools, and PPE clean and tidy.
- Providing information to the Team Leader and Management on works carried out.
- Attending company courses and completing all mandatory training including LTO.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven track record in open sounding and leakage detection techniques
- Water network knowledge
- LUCAS Card Training (TFL)
- Computer literate
- Client management and customer satisfaction experience
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding set targets

About you
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to train and coach less experienced staff
- Motivated to learn new methods and improve performance

Qualifications
- Previous knowledge of basic validation activities and quantifications is desirable but training will be provided
